CAI Online Restaurant Ordering System (RedCart)
RedCart is a web based application designed for restaurants to provide online ordering capabilities. Using RedCart, restaurants can easily begin taking orders online, providing full 'shopping cart' style features.
RedCart is composed of several components which allows for maximum flexibility, interchangeability, and scalability.
The diagrams above illustrate each modular subsystem in RedCart. Each subsystem (e.g. the web service) can be hosted on a different physical machine. This empowers your restaurant to scale up as the demand for your online ordering service grows and becomes more and more in demand.
